In fact, if approved, the first increase under the agreement will be operative from November 2009 and will match the public sector rate of pay which will come into operation on 1 January 2010. In addition, there will be an increase in 2011 of 3.25% which will take rates at Ramsay Health ahead of the public sector. The agreement will expire on 1 July 2012.
