Payroll Deductions:
Due to the passage of the Public Sector (Union Fees) Act (1992), it is no longer possible to offer the convenience of payroll deduction of union subscriptions to members employed in the public sector. Most employers in the private sector have not suspended payroll deductions if they were previously available. Some quasi-public sector agencies have not suspended payroll deductions. If you are considering paying by payroll deductions, please contact the Association office to find out if this facility is available at your workplace.

Direct Debits:
These are electronic transfers of funds from your nominated bank/credit union account. Only accounts which issue statements, such as cheque accounts, statement savings accounts and passbook accounts are eligible. Merchant card accounts such as Visa Card, MasterCard are not acceptable. If you intend to pay by direct debit or payroll deductions please contact the Association for the appropriate forms to be sent to you.
