We have been contacted by a scientist against whom a serious complaint has been made regarding an error which had an adverse impact on a patient. The scientist wanted to access the MSAV’s professional indemnity insurance. The scientist was no longer a financial member of the MSAV, and as the incident occurred during a period where she was unfinancial, she was unable to access the advice and legal representation available under the MSAV’s policy.
