On 12 October 2010 the Union and Dorevitch management met in Fair Work Australia to discuss the re-opening of negotiations for a collective agreement to apply at Dorevitch Pathology and Gippsland Pathology.

It was agreed that Dorevitch will send out a Memo to employees advising them that the EBA negotiating committee will be re-established and calling for nominations. There will be 2 scientists representatives on the committee, and 2 technician representatives – in each case, one metropolitan representative and one regional representative. We urge members to consider nominating. Nominations will close on 26 November 2010.The employer will also issue a notice of employee representation rights under the Fair Work Act 2009.
