Through our insurance broker we have negotiated an increase in limit to earnings in private practice for the purposed of the Union’s professional indemnity insurance policy.

Members of the Union will be covered by our group Professional Indemnity insurance policy where their income from private practice does not exceed $25,000 in the 2007/2008 financial year. This increase is up from the previous limit of $20,000.

The same conditions continue to apply: you must be a sole trader and bill clients in your own name. Psychologists must also be in employment.
