Haematology / Blood Bank – Geelong

Full-time - 12 month Maternity Relief Position

Suitably qualified and experienced medical laboratory scientists are invited to apply for a Grade 2 position in the Haematology and Blood Bank department located in Geelong. This is a 12-month maternity relief position.

The successful applicant would be responsible for shared supervision of the blood bank department with responsibility for technical staff training, quality control, reagent ordering, maintenance of testing equipment, resolution of referred samples for antibody investigations, authorisation of results, and to act as a technical resource for the hospitals we service and the other sites in St John of God Pathology.
