St John of God Pathology is the leading not-for-profit provider of quality pathology services in Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Medical Scientist to manage the day-to-day operations and technical performance of our Victorian Histopathology and Cytology laboratories located in Ballarat, Geelong and Melbourne. These laboratories provide services to public and private hospitals in Regional Victoria and Melbourne in addition to provision of a community based diagnostic service.

This position will be located in either Ballarat or Geelong, and is part of a dedicated and committed Victorian management team.

The successful applicant will be degree qualified with significant post graduate experience in Histology, and will have excellent leadership and interpersonal capabilities. The applicant will also need to demonstrate a commitment to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.

Conditions of employment and salary are in accordance with the SJOGP enterprise agreement. Attractive salary packaging benefits and corporate discounts are available.
