There will be two public holidays for New Year’s Day in 2012. Sunday 1 January 2012 and Monday 2 January 2012 have both been declared as public holidays. Note that Monday 2 January 2012 is not a substitute day but is a holiday in its own right.

Christmas Day falls on a Sunday. Monday 26 December 2011 is the Boxing Day holiday, and Tuesday 27 December is the substitute holiday for Xmas Day.
