Public Sector Bargaining

The VPA Inc will be making application for a protected action ballot of psychologists across public health services next week. The ballot application will not be confined to psychologists employed in mental health, but will be in relation to the breadth of services where psychologists are employed, including acute care, rehabilitation, drug & alcohol services and community health services.

The VPA Inc application for the ballot will be made together with the MSAV and AHP application (with the MSAV & AHP application under the auspices of the HSU #4 Branch).

The ballot applications are expected to be lodged next week. The ballot is likely to commence during the week beginning 16 April 2012.
