| Public Sector EBA Meeting Postponed |

The first EBA meeting with the DHS and the VHIA scheduled for yesterday morning (24 July 2007) was postponed by the employers and the DHS.
That meeting did not go ahead as both the VHIA and DHS were in the AIRC over a matter involving unsafe staffing levels in the inpatient units at Eastern Health Mental Health Service. We expect the EBA meeting to be rescheduled asap. Meanwhile the matter involving Eastern Health continues in the AIRC.
