The VPA is negotiating a revised structure for psychologists which will apply in mental health, as well as to psychologists employed in acute care, rehabilitation and community services. HACSU (Health and Community Services Union – the No 2 Branch of HSU) is negotiating over conditions for all staff in mental health, including an additional week’s annual leave for psychologists employed in mental health. 

HACSU members have been meeting this week to discuss their response to the government wages offer of 3.25%. The resolution passed by HACSU members can be found at Meeting Resolution We have sent out a media release in support of the HACSU position. Go to Media Releases
