What has happened to the Healthscope/Gribbles bid for Symbion/Dorevitch? We understand from reading  the financial pages and the announcements on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) website that Symbion Health is still in discussion with Healthscope, but that would consider an approach from Primary Care, if it is ‘in the best interests of shareholders’.

 An announcement from Symbion on 25 September 2007 posted on the ASX website relating to Healthscope  HEALTHSCOPE LIMITED (HSP) - ASX Listed Company Information Fact Sheet states that Symbion will ‘keep the market fully informed in relation to any material developments’. So far there have been no further announcements, but watch this space.
