We have opened ‘bargaining periods’ with all public health services in Victoria which employ our members. This is a necessary precondition under the ridiculous IR legislation of the federal government. Once bargaining periods are opened, then we can seek to have secret ballots of members in relation to taking industrial action. Watch this space!
