We have been negotiating with Epworth over the renewal of the agreement covering psychologists, dietitians and sleep scientists since September 2007. Epworth sought the assistance of the Commission in dealing with the outstanding issues around psychologists’ classifications, and the quantum and timing of salary increases. We consented to the involvement of the Commission, and significant progress was made in private conference this week. Further discussions will be held under the auspices of the Commission next Monday.
