Negotiations stalled over unacceptable wages offer. A Ballot of members to endorse possible industrial action is underway through the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).

Melbourne IVF
Agreement almost concluded, which covers scientists employed in IVF services. The new agreement will incorporate all award and agreement conditions. Outstanding issue: introduction of ADOs. Agreement to match public sector outcomes. Operative date 1 October 2007 agreed.

Radiation Oncology Victoria
Preliminary discussions have occurred. Meeting of medical physicist members will be convened to discuss the MSAV log of claims. We are seeking a consolidated agreement which includes all award conditions, and which follows public sector outcomes.
