COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTRES FBT STATUS / GOVERNANCE REVIEW PDF Print E-mail
You will recall that the ATO issued a ruling that would alter the FBT status of CHCs to the detriment of members employed in them.  We understand that a review of the governance of CHCs is currently running and will produce a discussion paper in the short term future.  The Union has sought the opportunity to respond to the discussion paper prior to decisions about governance changes are made.  We are concerned that the review may lead to CHCs becoming Non Government Organisations’ and therefore losing nexus from the Public Sector in the future.
