PUBLIC SECTOR HEADS OF AGREEMENT |

An AIRC conference was held on 29 May 2008. In-principle agreement was reached on the remaining unresolved issues in terms acceptable to the Union. The parties are now able to finalise the Heads of Agreement which will trigger the payment of the increased rates and backpay. This should be completed within the next two weeks if DHS provides documents in a timely fashion. A special tribute is due to the members of our negotiating committee who have put in many hours of their time supporting industrial staff in wearying AIRC conferences. The members of this committee are: Peter Wells, Max Cowey, Frank Gagliardi, Maria Bisignano, Damian McVeigh, Belinda Jude, Jacqui Bailey, Victor Reginato, Steve Edwards.
