After hearing that Southern Health is considering contracting out dietetic services at a new aged care facility (which will replace the nursing home at the Kingston Centre, which is to be closed), we have written to Southern Health reminding them that Victorian government policy states that clinical services will not be contracted out by public hospitals. We have also requested an up-to-date Impact Statement re the closure.
