We have been inundated by complaints from members that the backpay and sign on bonus has yet to be paid by Bayside Health. Worse, pay office has told members that HR instructed that the payments be held back. HR has told us that the DHS funding has not been received.

We don’t understand why Bayside is so different - members at other health services have received their backpay – and we have received a lot of grateful Emails from members. It is good to receive positive feedback from members after such difficult negotiations. Members should also be thanking their colleagues at those sites where other members took industrial action and were prepared to lose pay.
