We have started a round of members meetings with members employed by Dorevitch Pathology and Gippsland Pathology, which are both owned by Symbion Health.

The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the negotiations for the renewal of the EBA. As members will be aware, Primary HealthCare has taken over Symbion Health (after a bitter battle with Healthscope) and this has delayed the negotiations. We will be talking to members about negotiating strategies and what we will need to do should Primary delay the negotiations any longer.

Meetings will be held at the Benalla, Wangaratta and Albury laboratories in the coming weeks.
