Returning Officer’s Report
September 2008

In relation to the election for the positions of President, Vice-President and Treasurer, and six (6) ordinary members/councillors of the Council, there being the same number of candidates as vacancies, I declare the following members of the MSAV to be duly elected as Officers and Councillors of the MSAV Council for a term of two (2) years from 10 September 2008:

Barbara Robinson did not stand for the MSAV Council this year. We thank Barbara for her contribution to the MSAV, latterly as Vice President, and in particular as job representative when she was employed at Melbourne Pathology. Maria Bisignano has been elected as the new Vice President of the MSAV.

Matt Wilson has stepped down as President, but will remain as a member of the Council. We thank Matt for his leadership over the last 2 years. Max Cowey is the new President, and will be vacating the Treasurer’s role, which will be taken up by Adrian Warmington.

Daniel Kidd from RMH pathology has been elected as a new member of the Council.
