Sick/Personal Leave Accumulation Errors - Public Sector PDF Print E-mail
Members have alerted us to incorrect sick/personal leave amounts being credited to members by some employers in the public sector.

Personal leave is being accrued at rates which are less than under the HSU#4 award. These errors have been detected at Alfred Health and Eastern Health.

The correct accumulations are:
1st year of service: 121 hrs 36 minutes
2nd 3rd 4th year of service 136 hrs 48 minutes
5th and following years of service 190 hours
(fully cumulative).

Please contact the office if you think that your personal leave accumulations are incorrect.
