Healthscope’s profit was $74.9M in 2007-2008, with particularly strong growth in hospital and pathology revenues. We are in the process of concluding the agreement with Healthscope hospitals, and expect that given the profitability of the hospital sector, the issue over operative date should be easily resolved. We will keep members informed of progress on the issue, which we hope to finalise next week.
