More of the outpatient work from the Albury/Wodonga, Benalla and Wangaratta regions is being sent to the Heidelberg laboratory, with a resultant loss of jobs in Dorevitch’s regional laboratories, including some scientist positions.

Scientists at the Heidelberg laboratory have been told to ensure that local doctors in regional areas “still feel that they are getting a local service”.

Members at Heidelberg have been told to say that they are from Dorevitch (rather than Heidelberg) when speaking to patients/ doctors/clinics from these areas.
