The ACTU has announced that the Union movement has pledged a minimum of $250,000 to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal.

Individual members are urged to donate through the Red Cross State Government Victorian Bushfire Appeal Fund www.redcross.org.au  or phone 1800 811 700. There may be delays in getting through because of the number of people who are donating: be patient and try again if you experience problems.

The MSAV/VPA/AHP Council and Committees will be meeting to discuss donations from our Union.

We have members living in the most affected communities. In addition to donating to the Red Cross, the Union would like to assist individual members who have been directly affected by the fires.
