Where members who are injured at work have disputes about their WorkCover claims sent to conciliation, the Union will provide representation through Union Assist. This service is provided through Trades Hall.

We recently referred a pharmacist member to Union Assist over the non-payment by her former employer’s insurance company of ongoing physiotherapy treatment for a hand injury. The dispute went to conciliation and was resolved in our member’s favour.
