The drafting of a comprehensive agreement incorporating the public sector award, the 2008 Heads of Agreement, and all previous agreements, including organisational change agreements, is close to being concluded. This has been a massive task and has involved a working group from the Union, the VHIA and DHS.

The new agreement will be a multi-employer agreement & will apply across the public sector. The Agreement will need to be put to a vote. We expect that vote to be held soon.
