The other outstanding matter from the public sector negotiations in 2008 is the agreement to continue discussions under the auspice of DHS with a view to agreeing a model or models providing private practice rights for psychologists in the public sector. We are in the process of setting up a working party with DHS and the VHIA to deals with this matter. The VPA Committee will be closely involved in the negotiations.
