The ABI service is funded by the Department of Human Services (DHS). From 1 July 2009 Epworth will no longer auspice ABI. DHS has called for tenders for the auspice. We have held preliminary discussions with Epworth in relation to redundancy and transmission of business issues affecting the neuropsychologists employed in the ABI service. Once we know which organisation will be providing the service, we will have further discussions around employment arrangements.
