We have provided the VHIA with draft classification structures for medical scientists, psychologists and audiologists as well as the dietitians’ draft structure. We have written to the Industrial Relations Commission (now Fair Work Australia) seeking assistance in coming to an agreement with the VHIA around the new classification structures.  

There will be a meeting of pharmacist members to discuss a proposed new structure for pharmacists to remove anomalies between some of the rates (specifically Directors and Clinical Specialists) and to revise the Groupings. 

A draft structure for perfusionists will be circulated which will insert a Grade 4 classification.
