Negotiations for New Enterprise Agreement Finalised 

Agreement has been reached with Melbourne Pathology over the terms of a new enterprise agreement which will come into operation from 1 July 2009 for 3 years.

After months of hard bargaining and hard work by job representatives and the MSAV, we have reached a satisfactory outcome which we will be recommending to members. Salary increases and changes in terms and conditions of employment will take effect immediately.

There will also be salary adjustments at the top of each Grade. Overall the outcome will match public sector rates of pay.

Discussions are continuing over additional annual leave for part-time scientists who work on Saturdays.
