Fair Work Australia (FWA) yesterday evening granted orders for a secret ballot to be conducted of all HSU/MSAV members employed at Dorevitch Pathology and GPS Pathology on whether to take protected industrial action in pursuit of negotiating a new Collective Agreement. Dorevitch Pathology vigorously opposed the Unions application and the hearing went well into the evening. It concluded with the FWA commissioner finally handing down the decision allowing  ALL MEMBERS employed at Dorevitch Pathology and GPS the opportunity to VOTE  on whether to take Industrial Action. The ballot will be conducted under the auspice of the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC). Union meetings are scheduled over the coming weeks and more information concerning dates and voting will follow.
