Feedback from members who attended the MSAV and VPA PDs this week has been great. We had great speakers for both PDs which were run in conjunction with AGMs. Melanie Saba, the Registrar of the Victorian Psychologist’s Registration Board was able to give us some great insights into the new national registration scheme for health professionals as it affects psychologists; Prof Henry Jackson talked about the problems for public mental health flowing from Medicare rebates for private psychology services, and A/P Andrew Wootton and A/P Ibolya Nyulasi address the context in which career structures can be developed for scientists and dietitians. We thank all our speakers for their presentations.
