St Vincent's Hospital Income Protection Scheme |

We have finally reached agreement with St Vincent’s Hospital in relation to clarification and improvement to the Income Protection scheme that has been in operation since 1994. This includes increasing the amount of personal leave credits for all employees covered by the scheme by 4 days per year, and ensuring that all personal leave forgone is credited to employees on their Certificate of Service should they leave their employment at St Vincent’s.
As this was the last matter to be resolved, the drafting of the public sector multiple employer certified agreement can now be finalised. The Agreement will need to be circulated for a formal vote, before being certified by Fair Work Australia. FWA replaced the Australian Industrial Relations Commission on 1 July.
