SYMBION MANAGEMENT NOW COMPLETELY OUT OF STEP WITH THE INDUSTRY

The Union has received an offer on salaries for scientists and technicians from Gribbles Pathology. The MSAV will be recommending to members at Gribbles Pathology that they accept the wages offer as it meets the test of matching market rates.

We met with Gribbles members at the Clayton Laboratory today to advise them of the offer.

We will be in touch with members at regional laboratories about the offer.

With this offer on the table, Dorevitch and Gippsland Pathology are completely isolated. Unless they revise their position they will find it extremely difficult to attract scientists and technicians, particularly given their reputation as an employer.
